These hopes were collected on Saturday, February 19, 2010 on Olvera Street—a historic neighborhood of Los Angeles that marks the very spot where the pueblo of LA actually began. The street itself is a romanticized Mexican marketplace with shops, kiosks, and cafes featuring all sorts of colorful crafts, snacks, drinks, and souvenirs.
